Litigation partner joins A.Y. Strauss

Jordan Engelhardt joined A.Y. Strauss in Roseland as a partner in the firm’s litigation group, effective June 1.
Engelhardt previously served as counsel at Patterson Belknap. His practice will focus on commercial disputes, financial services litigation, and intellectual property.
“Jordan’s extensive experience in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters will be an asset to our clients across the firm and to the litigation practice,” said Managing Partner Aaron Strauss in a prepared statement. “We are delighted to welcome him to A.Y. Strauss.”
Engelhardt has experience in federal and state courts, administrative agency matters, and alternative dispute resolution. He co-authored a treatise chapter on commercial division procedure in New York State court and several amicus briefs in cases before the United States Supreme Court.
A.Y. Strauss has added a number of attorneys to its roster with the acquisition of two law firms, White Harris PLLC and Holden Legal Group, in recent months.
